We have teamed up with a great Design studio that offers a unique team building experience with their ceramic slip casting workshop. Slip casting is ceramic forming technique in which liquid clay is poured into plaster moulds, allowing for the formation of complex and unique ceramic pieces. Held in a stunning concept space only 10 minutes from the Melbourne CBD, this activity is the perfect balance of creativity, relaxation, and community. You’ll have plenty of opportunities for spending quality time with others, whilst experiencing the satisfaction of creating unique and personalised art pieces.
This 2.5-hour workshop is beginner-friendly, includes a studio tour, and a step-by-step class with a professional artist. All materials are included, and each participant will complete a few pieces, which can be collected at a later date, after the firing process.
Class logistics are customisable, accommodating groups of 6-30 people. Various food and drink options are available, either BYO or catered, with private dining areas available on site. The ‘Splash’ or ‘Landscape’ classes are ideal for larger groups with the option to pre-select your colour scheme.
