Mini Olympics is a fun and energetic outdoor team event where familiar activities are updated with a fun twist. This event is perfect for active teams who enjoy a bit of friendly competition in the great outdoors.

Your whole team loves a laugh and a good portion of your team are active (not everyone by any means, there are activities for all to enjoy).
What to expect:
Whilst the Mini Olympics is designed for relatively active teams, our philosophy ensures our events are inclusive and physical challenges are safe and not intimidating. As people volunteer for the different events, no team member is coerced into anything uncomfortable. Safety is always paramount.
The Mini Olympics is basically run like a sports carnival. Countries compete for gold medals at 3 main stadiums; the race meet; ball games and field meet. During the event your teams rotate around all three, changing every 35-40 minutes.
Upon arrival at the “stadium” teams are briefed on the medal events and team members volunteer for 2 –
The Race Meet includes the flippers, gowns & gumboots quick change race, a 3 person sack race, the 4 person buddy walker challenge, the fantastic run mat and wraps up with a multi leg relay.
Ball Sports includes soccer relay with giant balls, polo ponies or hoppers race, the amoeba race (where the team is tied together as a single cell, the water carrying relay and the quick pass challenge
The Field Meet includes our tinny shoot, garden darts, finska relay and rhythmic gymnastics routine

We generally use the Botanic Gardens, but can come to other areas in the Sydney Metro area (location options are below).

Includes logistics, planning, equipment, a gold medals
and 3 – 6 experienced facilitators.
Plus park permit fees charged by councils. As a guide the Botanic Gardens permit is $260 + gst

Other Locations: Easton Park in Rozelle/Lilyfield, Grant Reserve at Coogee, Kissing Point Park, Putney, Lane Cove National Park, Parramatta Park, Sydney Park Alexandria, West Spit Bridge at Mosman (exposed in Summer), Pirrama Park Pyrmont (exposed in Summer), West Pennant Hills Community and Sporting Centre. (All subject to updated council permissions)
Sydney Olympic Park doesn’t have any shady areas so is problematic in warmer months, but OK in Winter, please ask. North Sydney Council has all its areas booked by school groups.
